Taxi Review

Alberta Co-op Taxi Line sucks, and who I am pointing out are the Drivers. December 8 2012, Saturday around 5PM at Sobeys in Beverly. I phone them and took me 15 minutes to reach them. Well for that issue its was ok on my side, because it was a busy day. So i placed a cab order and they told me the cab will come around 20-30 minutes.. typical answer, i just say "ok" waited for 45 minutes, try to call them back for another 15 minutes and they say it will be in 15-20 minutes "again".. Take note that it was -20 outside that night. Then from a far, if you been in Sobeys at Beverly. You can clearly see the road, and I've seen like 3 or 4 Co-op Taxi passing by, and couple of them even park at the Edmonton Public Library for a few minutes and went out again. The library is in front of Sobey, so its easy to spot them. So what just because "we" the one who are calling from Sobey, for them knowing that we have groceries, we leave near and its cold outside for them to assist us they will pick us as "not their priority?" I phoned them again and complained about those Co-op taxi that are just park in front of the EPL, and they even told me "ow yes there some cab there, im gonna dispatch one them right away" Waited for 20 minutes more, a Co-op Taxi came... I grab my cart full of groceries in a chilling -20 night, when i turned around a "Sobeys Security" guy was talking to the Co-op Taxi driver and before i even got close to the taxi, he went off with the security guy. That security guard was standing outside at Sobey too, for just minutes and i didn't even saw him pull his phone out and call for a Cab.. so based on my experience, yeah for me Co-op Taxi Drivers are the worst

We were in the edmonton train station and needed a taxi to go 1.1 KM to the Red Arrow bus station. We used a co-op taxi. On their web site it said the cost was $4.75. We were charged $17.75. Clearly we were ripped off by the driver. DO NOT USE CO-OP TAXI.
