Alice's SMRT Taxi Review
"I would like to comment on the lack of integrity of one of SMRT taxi driver named Mr. Too with the car plate SHC4989K. Today morning, I misplaced a laptop in his taxi but managed to get a hold of him via SMRT service line. The SMRT customer service also informed me I need to pay for the meter fare to send the item back to me, which I agreed to. I was elated to know it was with Mr. Too and talked to him arranging a meeting at night). I was ready to commend his integrity and honesty but little did I know it's a mask and an opportunity for his exploitation. As I needed my laptop for work, I contacted him in the late afternoon to change the meeting time. But suddenly there wasn't any reply back (we SMSed right before that) and I even called him twice. Only at night, he called, telling me he was on his way. When I went down, he did not drive the SMRT taxi but his personal car with a passenger at the front seat, who obviously is his own family/friend, and demanded $30 with the excuse of peak hour while driving Uber car. It really hindered my day's work because he refused to answer my calls and he charged me without a meter. This incident truly shows the integrity of SMRT and I will never engage SMRT taxi services again."

"I'm very disappointed with SMRT taxi driver, ( SHC4694K), He is super rude, I was taking the taxi from bedok mall after doing some groceries, the moment I enter the taxi he start scolding me, saying that I'm too slow when putting the groceries to the trunk,he didn't even help me. I just keep quiet, too lazy to urgue. Yet half way he scolding me again for not giving direction,because I was checking my groceries receipt. Anyway i already told him my destination, and there was GPS as well in the cab.I'm totally upset with the driver. even when I ask him to stop close to the lobby of my apartment,so easier for me to carry all my groceries bag, but he just didn't do it, he stopped oppsite the lobby. I'm really upset with the rudeness of the driver."

"Board SHD6237D from Teck whye to choa chu kang..Driver shortchange me 5cents...and i dont really care but my 2years old daughter thought that there will be a change and she was standing beside the driver and waiting and when i ask her to come out from the cab the driver stared at us and not even a smile...You as an adult give a gangster stare to a 2year old child...I think he is out of his mind...And his attitude need to be checked...Arrogant and crazy...Should have ask for my 5cents.. its not worth it..."

Bad customer services's SMRT Taxi Review
"So apparently my friend ds and I just board a cab SHB535T 10 mins ago from woodlands ring road. Due to bad English (well apparently perhaps the driver think so), my friend said,"Sembawang mrt station" and the driver responded, "huh? What place is that?" I immediately responded "Sembawang Sun Plaza". With that he proceed. And when we reach Sembawang he drove the direction towards mrt and I responded," it's the wrong way, sun plaza is on the right." With that, the driver rudely responded, "all of you were so noisy on the cab saying so many places how do I know where to go. What you want now." while pulling up his sleeve showing his full sleeve tattoo. With that we kept quiet through out our trip till we reach our destination. I wonder why such rudely people has no basic manners and respect."

"Mr Tan of SHC4183T is so freaking rude...i just send my husband to the airport from marine parade and it cost me about 14sgd and for me to return to marine parade again from changi airport it cost me 20sgd so i politely ask uncle why did the fare reached 20sgd (asking out of curiosity) and he answered me in a DEFENSIVE MANNER saying that i can print out a receipt for you to see...say lah in a nice way..."
