| Card Options Available: | Kyiv Metro offers contactless cards for fare payment. A card can be purchased for a small fee (₴15; refundable upon return) from cashiers and loaded for up to 50 trips at once. There is a special gradual scale of prices, such that every tenth purchased access (bought once) makes every previous one cheaper by ₴0.30. To clarify, the first 9 ride accesses cost the standard amount, whereas for 10-19 rides, the price for each one is ₴7.70; for 20-29 rides, ₴7.40; and so on. Thus, loading the card with 50 rides costs only ₴6.50 per ride. |
